Excerpt

Boyce watched me, a lit cigarette in one hand and a koozied beer in the other. We hadn’t spoken since that kiss, other than his usual juvenile quips during biology—the ones that drove Mel and Mr. Quinn insane and made Landon smirk and shake his head and had me biting the inside of my cheek to suppress my smile.

At first, I’d been confused, then disappointed, and then angry. I’d worked my way to acceptance, like when I’d known I was drowning and there was nothing I could do. He’d merely gone back to being Boyce Wynn, who did what he wanted and who he wanted. And I’d gone back to being Pearl Frank—star student, social royalty, good girl.

But I couldn’t forget that kiss. The fixed glint of his eyes across the fire said that neither could he.

How amazing is it to open a book to find out you've been quoted? I freaked out! It is an amazing feeling =D

As a fan of Easy, I couldn’t wait to dive into Breakable. I wanted to get inside Luca’s mind from the moment I found out about this book. And the cover is to die for! I wanted to know what he was thinking in some of my favorite scenes of Easy. I mean who wouldn’t want to get into his head? After reading Easy, every woman would go gaga for him! He is hot, mysterious, smart; talented… the list goes on and on. Now you understand why I couldn’t wait for Breakable? Well, we get this and a little more! Double the win for Easy fans!

Okay, I am not going to lie. I had a pretty hard time getting into Lucas’ mind. Maybe because Breakable alternative from point of views and you know how I go crazy with this. Well, yes, not only do we get to read about Lucas but of Landon… As any Easy fans would know, Landon is Lucas but before his mother died… (Oopsy, spoiler alert). Enough with giving the story away, but we come to learn more about his past and how this broken child turns into a beautiful gentleman. How awesome is this? Not only do you get a steaming hot gentleman but a character that changes throughout rough experiences that life throws at him. You truly come to know Lucas.

The best thing about Breakable is that it can be read as a standalone, but I highly recommend that you read Easy. Seriously, this book is as freaking amazing. Even if you read Easy, you want to get your hands on a copy of Breakable. Lucas is on high demand for a reason! Every Easy fan needed to know more about him and Tammara Webber delivered just another powerful story. So get on, go buy Breakable!
