Riders. A new fantasy adventure from New York Times and USA Today bestselling author Veronica Rossi.

For eighteen-year-old Gideon Blake, nothing but death can keep him from achieving his goal of becoming a U.S. Army Ranger. As it turns out, it does.

Recovering from the accident that most definitely killed him, Gideon finds himself with strange new powers and a bizarre cuff he can't remove. His death has brought to life his real destiny. He has become War, one of the legendary four horsemen of the apocalypse.

Over the coming weeks, he and the other horsemen--Conquest, Famine, and Death--are brought together by a beautiful but frustratingly secretive girl to help save humanity from an ancient evil on the emergence.

They fail.

Now--bound, bloodied, and drugged--Gideon is interrogated by the authorities about his role in a battle that has become an international incident. If he stands any chance of saving his friends and the girl he's fallen for--not to mention all of humankind--he needs to convince the skeptical government officials the world is in imminent danger.

But will anyone believe him?

A few questions for Marcus Walker, aka Death, of RIDERS

What’s your favorite thing about being a horseman in RIDERS?

My horse. She’s incredible.

What’s your least favorite thing?

Doing interviews. No offense. I’m a private person. [Smiles.]

What’s one thing that’s surprised you about being Death?

That I like it. I think I’m calmer now. I understand a lot of things better. In a way being Death has given me a really good life.

Give us a little insight into your tastes. What was the last song you listened to? Last thing that made you laugh?

Probably Kevin Gates “Really Really” for the song. And for the laugh that’d be G. Gideon. Doing some dumbass thing or another. You’ll see. You’ll meet him, then you’ll see.

Some loves will last 'til your dying breath

Every choice has consequences—but seventeen-year-old Layla faces tougher choices than most. Light or darkness. Wickedly sexy demon prince Roth, or Zayne, the gorgeous, protective Warden she never thought could be hers. Hardest of all, Layla has to decide which side of herself to trust.

Layla has a new problem, too. A Lilin—the deadliest of demons—has been unleashed, wreaking havoc on those around her…including her best friend. To keep Sam from a fate much, much worse than death, Layla must strike a deal with the enemy while saving her city—and her race—from destruction.

Torn between two worlds and two different boys, Layla has no certainties, least of all survival, especially when an old bargain comes back to haunt them all. But sometimes, when secrets are everywhere and the truth seems unknowable, you have to listen to your heart, pick a side—and then fight like hell…

Interview with The Lilin

Can you tell us a bit of your kind?
What is one of the things you love about being The Lilin? My purpose is to free Lilith.  Can't say I'm not having a lot of fun in the process while I'm topside.

How does it feel to take a soul and turn a human into a wraith?
It feels damn good.

As the deadliest of demons, is there time you wish to be someone else? To be of a different kind?
No chance in Hell would I want to be something besides the Lilin.

Hated and feared by many, do you love it or hate it? Why?
I love being feared by many.  I wouldn't have it any other way.

Is there anything else you would like to share about yourself?
Wouldn't you like to know?

Interview with Tink!!!

OUaT: Welcome to OUaT Tink, We are excited to have you on today as our honored guest. It the first time we have a Brownie on the site. So you have now officially pop that Brownie cherry! What do you have to say about that?
I'm not surprised that I'm your first to pop the cherry. Where I come from, I'm the official cherry popper.

OUaT: No beating around the bush, Im going straight to the main question all your fans will have for you and that is, What is up with you and the stuffed trolls dolls? Please keep all answers at least pg-13 if possible Tink.
They remind me of my family, so get your dirty human mind out of the gutter.

OUaT: In the otherworld Im sure you dont have things like the internet and Amazon, so how did you become so familiarized with all the human technology and online shopping? It seems you might even have a bit of an addiction.
I'm a brownie. Therefore I don't get out much, so I have a lot of time on my hands. It's not an addiction. I can quit Amazon Prime whenever I want. I just... I just don't want to quit them.

OUaT: In your famous chocolate cake, are you just using normal ingredients or are you adding something special to the mix?
Something special. Magic.

OUaT: You and Ivy have this love-hate relationship but I bet inside you really care and watch out for Ivy, what was it about Ivy that you knew you when you met, that you guys would hit it off as friends? How do you trust the one person that shouldn't be trusted and can ban you at anytime?
Ivy would be lost without me. Yep. I'm her faithful brownie, to the end and all that shiz. We connected. Like soul mates. Not the in love, going to make babies kind of connection though. And besides, I have her Amazon Prime password. So she's my bae. By the way, do you know what bae really means? Look it up. Get back to me. Maybe people will stop using that word.

OUaT: Tink how do you stay in shape? The way Ivy describes you, you might be tiny, but many human men would be jealous of your physique.
I was born this way.

OUaT: If tomorrow you had to go back to your world and could take one item from the mortal world, what would you choose?
Ivy's laptop, therefore I'd have access to Amazon whenever I needed it. Not that I need it, but you know....

OUaT: Think what are some of your favorites movies that you have watched while living with Ivy?
Harry Potter!

OUaT: Tink do you trust Ren? Can you explain your answer.
I've seen his dong. I do not trust him.

OUaT: Tink in the book we really dont get to know who Tink was before you ended up in the mortal world, Can you tell us a little bit about yourself from before.
If I did, then I'd have to hurt you. For realsies.

OUaT: Who do you like better? Humans or Fae?
Humans. Duh.

OUaT: Tink if you could have written in any scene you like that involved you, what would you have added to the book?
A female Tink would be really nice. Or even a dude. I don't discriminate.

OUaT: Tink can you tell us what we can expect from Tink in the sequel?
More of me, of course.

Things are about to get Wicked in New Orleans.

Twenty-two year old Ivy Morgan isn’t your average college student. She, and others like her, know humans aren’t the only thing trolling the French Quarter for fun… and for food. Her duty to the Order is her life. After all, four years ago, she lost everything at the hands of the creatures she’d sworn to hunt, tearing her world and her heart apart.

Ren Owens is the last person Ivy expected to enter her rigidly controlled life. He’s six feet and three inches of temptation and swoon-inducing charm. With forest-green eyes and a smile that’s surely left a stream of broken hearts in its wake, he has an uncanny, almost unnatural ability to make her yearn for everything he has to offer. But letting him in is as dangerous as hunting the cold-blooded killers stalking the streets. Losing the boy she loved once before had nearly destroyed her, but the sparking tension that grows between them becomes impossible for Ivy to deny. Deep down, she wants… she needs more than what her duty demands of her, what her past has shaped for her.

But as Ivy grows closer to Ren, she realizes she’s not the only one carrying secrets that could shatter the frail bond between them. There’s something he’s not telling her, and one thing is for certain. She’s no longer sure what is more dangerous to her—the ancient beings threatening to take over the town or the man demanding to lay claim to her heart and her soul.

Book Blitz: Loving Eded by T.A Foster + Character Interview

Loving Eden
Author: T.A. Foster
Reading Level: New Adult
Genre: Romance
Released: September 25th 2014

Have you ever thought of packing up everything you own and moving halfway across the country?

I’m talking about leaving your entire life behind—friends, family, school—with no turning back. No? Me either, but that was before a week of spring break changed my life forever. Before I did something I never thought I’d do at twenty-two. Before I fell in love with Grey.

Sometimes happily ever after isn’t always what you think it will be.

Interview with Grey and Eden

When we last saw you two, Grey had made a trip to North Carolina to deliver a lost suitcase. What have you two been up to since then?

Eden: I graduated from Carolina in May and then spent the summer in Chapel Hill with Taylor.

Grey: Same ole, same ole for me. Just been working at the Palm Palace, trying to keep the summer guests happy.

No summer trips across state lines?

Eden: After Grey’s visit we talked on the phone all the time. Hours everyday.

Grey: And texted.

Eden: Right, and texted, but once we made the decision I was moving to South Padre, there was just too much to do to get ready to squeeze in a trip.

And how did that decision happen? Eden, did Grey ask you to move?

Eden: I think we realized right away that we aren’t the kind of couple who handles long distance well. I wanted to be with him all the time. The timing is actually perfect. I just graduated and I hadn’t found a job yet, so it made the most sense that I go to Texas. Besides, I love it. I couldn’t ask Grey to give up the Palm and move to North Carolina.

Grey: Yeah, I did ask her, but it was a mutual decision. We both wanted that from the beginning. And she’s completely right. We work best when we’re together.

All of  that sounds intense. When is the big move?

Eden: Well, I had to finish out my lease and then my parents insisted I spend some time with them before moving. So, I’ll be headed to Texas the first part of September.

Grey, are you flying up to help Eden move?

Grey: I wish, but she wants to do it on her own. I’ll be getting things ready for her to
move down.

Eden: It’s not that I don’t want Grey on the trip, but it’s important to me I do this on my own. I hope that makes sense. Of course my parents think I’m crazy.

Moving in together is never an easy adjustment. Any last minute jitters before the big move?

Grey: Absolutely none.

Eden: Aww, that’s sweet. I’m a little worried about where I’m going to fit all my clothes and shoes, but I think we can figure something out.

Grey: Darlin’, you don’t have to worry about that. I have a surprise planned.

Eden: Surprise? You have to tell me now. Did you add another closet in your room?

Grey: You’ll see when you get to Padre.

Sounds like you two have a lot of exciting things ahead of you. Good luck on the move!

T.A. Foster once spent a monthlong spring break on South Padre Island, where she soaked in the Texas sun, beach, and learned what real Texas country music is. Sometimes fiction does spring from reality.

She grew up catching rays and chasing waves along the North Carolina Outer Banks and now resides in the state with her adventurous pilot husband, two children, and two canine kiddos.

T.A. has an undergraduate degree in Journalism and Mass Communication from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and a graduate degree in Educational Psychology from Texas A&M University. When she’s not chasing her two-legged and four-legged children or trying to escape for date night, you can find her reading, writing, or planning her next beach trip.

Blog Tour: Tore Divided Love | K.D. Ferguson | Character Interview | Giveaway

Welcome to our stop on Tore Divide Love tour for K.D. Ferguson. This tour is hosted by YA Bound Book Tours.

Tore Divided Love
Author: K.D. Ferguson
Reading Level: Young Adult
Genre: Science Fiction
Released: June 6th 2014

A future set in stone.

For eighteen year old Krissa Channing a government ruled pairing with Braiden Connor and a move to Headquarters were her set fate. Until Braiden's sudden disappearance threatens Krissa’s entire future.

After months of endless worry, Krissa has an unexpected meeting with Duke, a perfect suitor that could offer her the future she’s always dreamed of. Just when she begins to regain hope, Braiden returns.

Now, Krissa must find where her heart truly lies. Torn between two loves, she must decide which of their worlds she belongs in. But is such a decision even possible when the choice rests between freedom and love?
Please state your name?
Krissa.

Do you have a nickname?
Sometimes I’m referred to as Kris.

Please state for everyone your hair and eye color.
Naturally brown, sometimes you’ll see me with blonde highlights.  And I have hazel eyes.

Do you have any birthmarks or scars? If so, how did you get them?
I have the octagon marking that every newborn receives.  However, do to the horrific accident I experienced before moving to Headquarters, a scar now runs right through the shape, disfiguring my lasered symbol. The doctors tell me they can fix it, but I don’t mind being different  I actually think it’d be wrong to correct it as I don’t feel as if I represent our government they way they want me to.

Where were you born? Where have you lived since then? Where do you call home?
I was born is the Textile unit.  From there I moved with my boyfriend, Duke, to Headquarters.  I currently reside alone in the Sweeper unit in an undisclosed location known as the Dwelling.

What is your biggest fear?
Losing more loved ones.  And that I’ll fail.  So many are depending on me and as much as I want to help I have my doubts if I can.

Have you ever been in love? Had a broken heart?
I have been in love, and with two people at once.  I know that sounds selfish, but it’s the truth.  I had two men that I loved intimately, yet differently.  They both filled voids the other could not.  At times I feel like two different people because they both bring something different out of me and as much as I would have liked to have loved and lived completely with just one of them I would have missed the other.  But, there came a time where I needed to make a conscience decision and choose a better life for myself but that didn’t diminish the love for the other any.  As for heartbreak, I have experienced a hurt so deep that I know I will never fully recover from it.  It wasn’t just a broken heart, it was completely shattered.  It is beyond repair.

What is your idea of perfect happiness?
Living freely.  And I want to love and be loved in return.

What is your current state of mind?
Mayhem.  I have a lot swirling around in this brain of mine and I think I live in a constant state of worry.

What is your most treasured possession?
The watch I took from Braiden.

What or who is the greatest love of your life?
This is really difficult for me to answer because it’s not simplistic.  Duke was my greatest love because his love was pure and uncomplicated.  He loved every bit of me, unconditionally.  The respect he had for me spoke volumes and he truly made me a better person.  It’s a love I knew would never fade.  The biggest love of my life is Braiden because he changed me on so many levels.  We had an unspoken bond.  We connected in ways no one would understand; we went through too many complications for anyone to truly get our relationship.  I have a deep, undying love for Braiden but his love would never carry me through life.

What is your favorite journey?
Looking back, I don’t have a favorite journey because it’s all been a tangled web of lies.  Part of me wishes I never knew any truths and could continue living the perfect life, but knowing what I know I can’t ignore the pain, loss and suffering of those around me.  I am hoping to be on a better journey in the future, but I have a very long road ahead of me.  I fear what is to come and I can’t say that I am prepared for what will take place but I know this is the road that I am destined to travel.

When and where were you the happiest?
When all I knew were lies. Knowing the truth is really hard.  It really is a bitter pill to swallow.  I was happier back in day; before I met Braiden, before I had to choose between the two loves of my life, before I knew the horrors that our government created.  Knowledge is power but it is also heartbreaking and gut-wrenching.

What is your greatest fear?
Failure.

What is your greatest regret?
I have many but I try not to dwell on them because I know it’ll get me nowhere. I do regret not sticking up for myself, no seeing truths, not appreciating precious time that runs out too quickly.  A quote I read in a book I found in the alcove stated “In the end, we only regret the chances we didn’t take, the relationships we were afraid to have and the decisions we waited too long to take.”  Now I need to ask myself, am I willing to risk it all?

How would you like to die?
I’m working on staying alive.  But if I had to choose, memorably.

What is your motto?
Even when divided, you must conquer.

I have recently released my first book, Torn-True Love, published by Rebel Ink Press. I am thrilled to be a part of the family!
