This is a very dark suspense. The eternal fight between good and evil, fueled by passion & love. A demon against his orders saves a girl he is suppose to kill. He rejects all he has been raised to believe in and stays alone for most of his life. He them becomes a sheriff in the same town his family of demons raises hell and creates havoc, to complicate it even more the girl he saved and has never been able to forget comes back to town. She is determine to find the monsters that killed her mom and sister. They are drawn together by fear and passion. The book was easy to put down and hard to follow.
