Friday Five: 4/1/11 / Follow Friday: Book you don't admit to

It's Friday so that means Friday Five that was started by Author Cheryl Renee Herbsman. Our friends at Eve's Fan Garden and Page Turners also partake in this meme.

Each Friday we will post a question or topic, then respond with our five choices.

Today we begin the month of April, what are some of your favorite Easter activities or items?

Yara's Answers (in no particular order):
  1. Confetti Eggs -  I was introduced to them here in TX when we moved here, in FL I never saw or had confetti eggs. FL has no idea what they are missing. Those little eggs are so much fun to crack on people heads.
  2. Chocolate Peeps - These are new this year (at least to me they are) and I'm so glad they decided to dip them in chocolate. Yummy!
  3. Easter Egg Hunt - This will always be one of the best thing about Easter, to see my boys faces light up every time they find a egg is priceless.
  4. Cadbury Creme Eggs - Another chocolate treat I love. I prefer the original over the other different flavors.
  5. Cadbury Eggs Commercials - These commercials are very cute and who doesn't love the bunny laying a chocolate egg.

To join the fun and make now book blogger friends, just follow these simple rules:

  1. (Required) Follow the Follow My Book Blog Friday Host {Parajunkee.com } and any one else you want to follow on the list
  2. (Required) Follow our Featured Bloggers - http://books-ahoy.blogspot.com/
  3. Put your Blog name & URL in the Linky thing.
  4. Grab the button up there and place it in a post, this post is for people to find a place to say hi in your comments
  5. Follow Follow Follow as many as you can, as many as you want, or just follow a few. The whole point is to make new friends and find new blogs. Also, don't just follow, comment and say hi. Another blogger might not know you are a new follower if you don't say "HI"
  6. If someone comments and says they are following you, be a dear and follow back. Spread the Love...and the followers
  7. If you're new to the follow friday hop, comment and let me know, so I can stop by and check out your blog!

Question: What is the book that you really don't want to admit to loving?

Yara's Answer:

I honestly have no book I am embarrassed to admit too. I will say since I know its probably going to be mentioned in other blogs for this question, I Love Twilight, why would I be ashamed of admitting to it. If those that want criticize others for reading take time and ask that person why they love it so much, then I dont think they will make fun anymore.

  3. Great answer! I liked twilight but didn't love it. But I get embarrassed with reading erotica in real life when people ask about books I read! I'm already a follower. My Friday Follow is at Coffee Table Reviews

  5. Great answer to FF. Even though we all march to the beat of a different drum, I think it's our differences that make us awesome. So what if someone likes/doesn't like Twilight. It's what makes the world go round. :)

  6. I've seen some surprising answers but I think my response to this week's Follow Friday question will shock most.

I have to say that I loved the Harry Potter series but have a really hard time admitting it. It's teenage stuff. Perfect for the YA audience, sure.

But a grown man who just last week blogged about wishing he could step inside the Rogue Warrior book series with Navy SEALs shooting, looting, drinking and wenching has got a real hard time admitting to loving teenie-bopper Harry Potter.

I go into much more detail on my blog and welcome all comments - http://www.howardsherman.net

All I ask is that everyone try and keep their comments civil. It's cool to disagree but flame wars are NOT cool.

    Thank God it's Follow Friday!

  7. Omg I LOVE Creme eggs too! They're my favourite thing. I can eat like, 3/4 a day easy. Here I can buy them 6 for £2. That's $3-4 I think? They're AMAZING!
