All we ask is that you link back to The Broke and the Bookish on your own Top Ten Tuesday post AND post a comment on our post with a link to your Top Ten Tuesday post to share with us and all those who are participating. If you don't have a blog, just post your answers as a comment

Top Ten Books I'd Like to See Made Into Movies

Once Upon a Twilight's List (in no particular order):
  1. Darkness Becomes Her by Kelly Keaton - I believe this book has everything that would transfer to the big screen in a great way. New Orleans and paranormal creatures.
  2. The Blackdagger Brotherhood series by J.R. Ward - If True Blood is on TV , this series will blow true blood out of the water if ever made. Hot Looking Male Vampires can never go wrong.
  3. Fever Series by Karen Marie Moning - Tons of action and Fey fighting over a certain book and a kick ass heroine will sell this movie.
  4. Nightshade by Andrea Cremer - The world Andrea created with these wolves would be a beautiful sight to see on the big screen, especially when they transform.
  5. Iron Fey series by Julie Kagawa - All I have to say is Prince Ash in a movie theater size screen, nuff said!
  6. Delirium by Lauren Oliver - The book's concept is so new and different and too see this world that was created by Lauren on the big screen would be Amor!
  7. Curse Workers Series by Holly Black - I dont think that when you have a new fresh idea that hasn't been seen on the big screen yet, it can't go wrong.  The curse workers would be cool to see in real life on the pages.
  8. Beautiful Lies by Lisa Unger
  9. The Law of the Lycans series by Nicky Charles
  10. Anna and the French Kiss by Stephanie Perkins - this would be the romantic movie of the year, Hands Down!

Im sure our list could go on and on. So many great books that would work for the big screen.

  1. Thanks for the list! Delirium just missed out on my top 10 (here, if you'd like to take a look - http://yayeahyeah.blogspot.com/2011/04/top-ten-tuesday-books-id-like-to-see.html ) but would definitely be a really interesting film. I need to check out Blackdagger Brotherhood, sounds fantastic!

  2. Anna and the French Kiss made my list too. It would be fun to see that world brought to life.
