Does that ring any bells? Probably not. Well Wolf Hall is a brand new miniseries that debut last night on BBC Two. The miniseries is an adaptation from Hilary Mantel's novel Wolf Hall.
Last night the premiere drew in 3.9 million viewers in the U.K. launch. This makes the show the best-performing original drama series since Rome in 2005, which only brought in 6.6 million viewers on BBC Two.
Wolf Hall is planned as a six-part adaptation of Hilary Mantel's novels.
Historical drama chronicling the rise of Thomas Cromwell, the son of a humble blacksmith who became King Henry VIII's chief minister, as he navigated the corridors of power in the Tudor court.
Wolf Hall stars Mark Rylance, Claire Foy, Damian Lewis and Jonathan Pryce.
