Book one in the CARELESS WHISPERS series. This is a standalone spin-off of the INSIDE OUT series (soon to be a TV show) that follows Ella Ferguson, Sara McMillan's best friend.

Ella Ferguson awakes alone in Italy, unsure of who she is, and a gorgeous man has claimed her as his own. He’s tall, dark, and sexy, with money and power, the kind of man who makes a girl want to be possessed. And he does possess her, whispering wicked wonderful promises to her, stealing her trust and her heart. Soon though, the past finds her, yanking her from a cocoon of passion and safety. Everything is not how it seems. The truth will shatter her world, but it can set her free, if it doesn't destroy her first.

Apparently I missed the memo. This is a spinoff series of another series and all I have to say is I need to get my hands on this, pronto. Denial was a very quick and fast read that will have readers on their edge. I read this during my work breaks, sneaked under my desk and well I just needed to continue reading. You just want to piece the puzzle with all the clues.

Denial is the story of Ella Ferguson and her lack of remembering. See, she doesn’t know who she is, where she is from, let alone what happened to her. However, what she knows is she has a hero. A hero that found and saved her from dark alley. He is Kayden Wilkens and he has taken the pledge to protect Ella while she tries to figure out her identity.

As the days go by, Ella is slowly regaining her memories but as she starts to get closer to Kayden, she soon realize the world he lives in is dangerous. There are things that are unexplainable but Ella will need to trust Kayden, no matter what.

Denial was steamy, full of suspense and crazy! Kayden is a very powerful man with lots of connections and many many enemies. You just want to protect him and Ella. These two are perfect for each other. As you turn the pages you will seriously fall in love with them. Read the book and trust me, you will be hooked.

  2. Usually people tend to dislike a book if they are reading a spin off and haven't read the main series yet. So you liking this sounds like a pretty good book then! I hope you enjoy the main series too <3
