Lucas Thorn wasn’t born a cheater. All it took was a single moment—say, a certain disastrous incident on the night before his wedding—and boom. Reputation destroyed forever and always. So now he owns it. He has a lady friend for every night of the week (except Sundays—God’s day and all), and his rules are simple: No commitments. No exceptions.

But a certain smart-mouthed, strawberry blonde vixen is about to blow that all to hell.

Avery Black has never forgiven Lucas for cheating on her sister. And suddenly being forced to work with him is pretty much a nightmare on steroids. Of course, it does afford her the opportunity to make his life as difficult as possible. But no good revenge scheme comes without payback. Because he didn’t become the Lucas Thorn without learning a few things about women.

Now Avery’s lust for vengeance has turned into, well, lust. And if Lucas stops cheating, it’s definitely not because he’s falling in love…

OK, this is my first book by Rachel Van Dyken and I really loved it!  The story line was so unexpected and entertaining.  I didn't know what to think going in completely blind, basically only taking in the title and the cover.  Which, with a title like cheater, it normally would send me running for the hills but this book rocked.

So here goes, Lucas Thorn was a relationship kind of guy.  He didn't start out wanting to be with every woman on earth and her mother.  He was engaged to be married but the day before his wedding he realized he was marrying the wrong woman and made a huge mistake by cheating.  After that fateful night, he turns into, yep you guessed it, a man whore.  Then later his ex's sister comes back into the picture with a vengeance.  She has been upset with Lucas ever since that night of cheating on her sister.  What she doesn't expect is for her anger to turn into lust with a CAPITAL L!

I LOVEDDDDDDD Avery.  She is my favorite character of the book, maybe even in my top favorite females list.  She does not put up with any bullshit and definitely stands her ground.  She makes me want her as a best friend.  She kind of reminds me of my best friend actually.  Lucas, with all his douche baggery, seriously grows on me.  I pretty much am team Lucas by the end of the book.  Avery and Lucas together are FIREEEEE.

I'm rating this book with 4.5 stars because I was really impressed with the writing and will definitely be keeping tabs on what Rachel Van Dyken comes out with next.  Go read this book!!  Trust me!
