Endless Summer

Reading Level: Young Adult
Genre: Contemporary Romance
Released: August 22nd 2016
Publisher: Entangled Crush

Truth or Dare was never this much fun...

Annie McFarland is sick of being a shy nobody. A session at summer camp seems like the perfect opportunity to reinvent herself—gain some confidence, kiss a boy, be whoever she wants to be. A few days in, she’s already set her sights on über-hottie Kyle. Too bad her fear of water keeps her away from the lake, where Kyle is always hanging out.

Jacob Fazio is at Camp Pine Ridge after one too many screw-ups. Junior counseling seems like punishment enough, but the rigid no-fraternizing-with-campers rules harsh his chill. When a night of Truth or Dare gets him roped into teaching Annie how to swim, she begs him to also teach her how to snag Kyle.

Late-night swim sessions turn into late-night kissing sessions...but there’s more on the line than just their hearts. If they get caught, Jake’s headed straight to juvie, but Annie’s more than ready to dare him to reveal the truth.

Excerpt

Great. The rudest boy at camp just so happened to save my life. I hoped he wasn’t one of those types who expected me to be indebted to him for the rest of the summer or whatever.

I looked away and coughed, water filling my mouth so I had no choice but to avert my head and spit it out. My cheeks felt hot, and I couldn’t believe I was embarrassed, but old habits died hard, I guess.

He said nothing, just grabbed my hand and walked/ dragged me the rest of the way out of the water, until we were standing on the sandy beach. I heard feet thumping on the dock and I glanced up, watched in disbelief as the majority of my so-called friends and the boys from B7B ran off the dock. Not a one of them had stayed behind to see if I was okay.

Not a single one of them.

Were they scared they’d get in trouble? Would Jacob rat me out? He was the director’s nephew, after all. I needed to say something to him. I didn’t want to get in trouble. I didn’t want to be sent home, and I’m pretty sure he had the power to make both things happen.

Before I could say anything, though, Jacob grabbed my shoulders and gave them a little shake so I’d look up at him. His eyes were dark, his mouth set in a grim line, and he bent his knees a little so our gazes were even. “You really all right?” he asked, his tone firm.

I’d quit coughing, but my voice still came out slightly wheezy. “I’m fine.” My bones felt like jelly and I thought I might pass out from lack of oxygen, but yeah. I was great.

He squeezed my bare shoulders with his big hands, his fingers sliding over my thin bikini straps, and I realized I’d never stood this close to a boy before with so little clothing on. A shiver moved through me, and I tried to take a step back for much-needed distance, but he wouldn’t let me go.

“That was really stupid, jumping off the dock like that,” he said, his deep voice now full of irritation.

“Trust me, I wasn’t trying to impress you.” I couldn’t believe I’d said that. But I was offended that he basically just called me stupid.

“No kidding.” He released his hold on my shoulders and walked a few steps away, snatching up something off the beach. “And I definitely wasn’t impressed.”

I made an incredulous sound, one I usually saved for the privacy of my bedroom when no one else was around, and he sent me a look. I was reluctant to admit it was sort of a cute look, his dark eyebrows raised, as if he dared me to contradict him.

So I did.

“Are you going to write me up?” When he still said nothing, I continued. “You said you would earlier.” I glanced around, noticed that the dock was completely empty. Where was Kelsey, anyway? Did she leave me, too? “You want me to?” “N-no. O-of c-course n-not.” My teeth had started to chatter. I didn’t know if it was from the cold or the shock, or a combination of both, but I couldn’t make them stop.

“Did you bring a towel with you at least?” Jacob asked. When I shook my head, he muttered something that sounded distinctly like a curse word starting with the letter F. The sympathetic look he shot my way was surprising as he came back toward me, his hand thrust outward, a ball of fabric clutched in it. “Take this.”

I didn’t want him feeling sorry for me. And that didn’t look like a towel. “Wh-what i-is it?” I wrapped my arms around my middle, my fingers brushing against my goosebump-covered torso. I couldn’t stop shaking. It was like I had no control over my body.

He sighed and glanced to his left, then his right, like he wanted to make sure there was no one around before he stepped forward and stretched the dark fabric between his hands. “Don’t move,” he ordered, his tone bossy as he yanked the fabric over my head.

I jerked against his first touch, but otherwise I remained still. It was a giant hoodie that he slipped over my head. Warm and soft and a little sandy from when he’d abandoned it on the beach. The fabric clung to my damp skin and the hem fell to my thighs, covering me from my neck to almost my knees. I shoved my arms in the sleeves but they were so long, they swallowed my hands completely, even when I stretched my fingers out.

He stepped closer and reached behind my head, pulling the hood up so that it covered my soaked hair. Then he grabbed hold of the strings at the sweatshirt’s neck and tugged on them, so the hood cinched around my face tightly, his gaze never leaving mine. “Better?”

I nodded and took a deep breath, the shivering starting to subside, thank goodness. “Much.”

Jacob reached out and wiped one cheek, then the other, his thumb rough yet warm against my chilled skin. “You’re still wet.”

“I should p-probably take a shower.” I clamped my freezing lips shut. Why did I just say that? Showers meant naked, and I didn’t want to talk about getting naked with Jacob.

Book Review: Never Let You Go by Monica Murphy

Never Let You Go
Never Tear Us Apart #2
Author: Monica Murphy
Reading Level: Adult
Genre: Contemporary Romance
Released: May 3rd 2016
Review Source: Random House Publishing Group

The second novel in this darkly sexy contemporary series from bestselling author Monica Murphy wraps up an emotionally powerful two-part tale of forbidden love.

The truth hurts, they say—and my pain cuts deep. While I was falling for Ethan, he was deceiving me the entire time. He held a huge secret, protected by his lies. When I discovered what he was hiding, the truth shook my world, threatening to ruin us forever. Ruin me. But I soon realized that what we share can’t be destroyed.

The connection between us is too strong. It always has been. I can’t deny him any longer. And I can’t deny my truth: I’m in love with Ethan.

I don’t want to let him go.

While we’re trying our best to make this relationship work, other forces are fighting against us. My family, who wants to keep me safe. The media obsessed with my tragic past. The public that feeds off of it. Even Ethan’s father—the man who nearly destroyed me all those years ago. He’s doing his best to finish the job.

Despite my love for Ethan, the doubts creep in, clouding my mind. Is he worth the pain? Will our love survive, or will we have no choice but to end it—end us—once and for all?

This is an Adult romance novel recommended for ages 18+ due to sexual content and mature subject matter.

Katherine was kidnapped when she was only 12 years old. She was abused and raped by her abductor and almost killed. Then one day, she was rescued by the kidnappers teenage son, Will. He grew up thinking of Katie often and lost touch and didn't know where she was until she did an interview on T.V. where Will was able to find her again. While his father Aaron is in prison awaiting the death penalty, he still somehow seems to haunt them from inside his prison walls. Even though his own son changed his name to hide away from him, he still manages to find both Katherine and Will and makes their lives hell! It was crazy to read this.

Never Let You Go was a very interesting read. There are two kids going through so much yet come out on top strong. Even stronger when they meet back up as adults and get to know each other on another level. Learning to leave the bad behind and to focus on the future, makes this read heartwarming. They make the best of it together.  Yes, there is hard to read how they end up together and some might not like it as he is a monsters' son. However, Will is nothing like his father and only wants what is best for Katie and protect her at every turn. Just because one person is at fault, the other cannot be at blamed.

This is a sad story that you can feel the emotions of what these characters lived through. The words will break you into pieces. Never Let You Go is a story of loss, feeling constantly in fear of the unknown and having to look over your shoulder. Yet a love story with a happy ending.. If you enjoy stories like this, then you have to read Never Let You Go.

Book Review: Taming Lily by Monica Murphy

Taming Lily
The Fowler Sisters #3
Author: Monica Murphy
Reading Level: Adult
Genre: Romance
Released: July 7th 2015
Review Source: Bantan | Edelweiss

I’m in trouble. Again. And instead of facing my problems head on, I’ve run away. Far away this time, and no one can catch me—not my two younger sisters, Violet and Rose, not my father, my grandmother, or that witch Pilar who wants to take control of my family’s cosmetics company. Now I’m in Hawaii, enjoying the sun and the sand and water, where nobody knows the hot mess known as Lily Fowler. And I’m loving every minute of it.

But someone is watching me. Following me. He’s gorgeous. And soon we’re talking, and against all my instincts, I reveal bits and pieces of myself to Max. It feels good, though I know he can’t be the man for me. These sudden feelings we share are way too complicated, too fraught, too intense.

Then everything explodes and I’m forced to return home. My intentions have always been true, but now everyone’s mad at me. I don’t know who to turn to anymore . . . except to Max. He’s who I want to trust. But I’m not so sure I should. Maybe it’s worth the risk—and what-ifs be damned. . . .
** This is an Adult romance novel recommended for ages 18+ due to sexual content and mature subject matter.**

Cover:
I’ve loved all the covers from the Fowler Sister Series. I definitely cannot wait until I have all three on my shelf together. You can even tell by the cover how much of a dominating personality Lily has.

Action:
HELLO! The action in this book was off the CHARTS (as in sexy time action). Max and Lily’s sexy time was definitely the best out of all three of these books. Man Monica Murphy, my fingers were feeling the heat radiating off the pages while reading these two.

Romance:
With intimacy aside, I kind of felt that there wasn’t much romance. Max and Lily both tried to keep their new sexual relationship just that, sexual. So any time one wanted to try and break a little wall down the other got defensive or downright rude, so I wasn’t feeling the romance between the two, the heat definitely though.

Something I loved:
I loved part of the ending that I obviously I won’t divulge because hello spoilers, but definitely satisfying moment after reading the three books.  And seriously the action in this book, off the charts.

Favorite Quote:
“It’s the way he believes in me. Encourages me. Supports me when I need it and steps back when my freedom is necessary.”

Book Review: Stealing Rose by Monica Murphy

Stealing Rose
The Fowler Sisters #2
Author: Monica Murphy
Reading Level: Adult
Genre: Romance
Released: March 3rd 2015
Review Source: Bantam | Netgalley

Perfect for fans of Christina Lauren and Emma Chase—the second novel in New York Times bestselling author Monica Murphy’s sizzling series about three powerhouse sisters and the men who would have their hearts.

People say the youngest child has it easy, but nothing can be further from the truth. Unlike my two sisters, Violet and Lily, I’m never in the limelight. I just work my butt off for Fleur Cosmetics and get little to no thanks for it. I’ve been pushed too far one too many times, and I’m finally brave enough to do something about it.

Maybe my newfound courage has something to do with the amazing pink and white diamond necklace I wear to the party in Cannes. The instant those dazzling heirloom jewels touch my skin, they excite some deep, aching need inside. And when that guy—that totally gorgeous guy—locks eyes with me, I know this nice girl is going to be naughty.

For once it’s my turn. My turn to say no to my father, to outshine my sisters, to walk away from it all—straight into the arms of a mysterious stranger. But what if Caden is much more than I bargained for? Sure, he makes me feel sexy and free in a way I never have before, but there’s something else I can’t quite place—something dangerous. Maybe our “chance” meeting wasn’t so random. Maybe he was looking for me for a reason. Whatever his motive, there’s no going back now.

And maybe I don’t want to.

** This is an Adult romance novel recommended for ages 18+ due to sexual content and mature subject matter.**

Someone go and get me all of Monica Murphy’s books stat! This woman knows how to turn the steam on! Bow Chicka Bow Wow.

So obviously this book is filled with dangerously hot scenes that I just couldn’t get enough of, but I also couldn’t get enough of Caden. With the second Fowler installment we’re introduced to our second bad boy, Caden, though he may not have been very rude, he wasn’t definitely criminal. Though his initial motive may have been bad he was always so attentive to Rose and was never truly an asshole to her. Both of these men though start off with wanting to take advantage of them, but in the end they both fall like dominos for these girls.

The best part about having the dual point of view, besides the obvious (getting more Caden), is that we get to watch the guys fall completely in love with their girls. Watching their hard exterior crumble slowly at the hands of these girls is one of the best experiences to read in a book, I just love when the guy falls first.

Unfortunately for me again, is that I wanted more of their background, the stuff other than the sex. Rose wants out of Fleur because of Pilar, and other reasons. She speaks slightly of what she loved doing, but never truly touched on the matter again. I get invested into my characters I love seeing them grow into stronger women. I’d love to have seen Rose do what she loves to do or start a pathway to becoming that person.

Monica Murphy knows her stuff; she knows how to make it hot. The Fowler Sister series is a definitely a series for anyone who loves some romance. It’s fun, flirty, and extremely sexy. I cannot wait to read the final installment, Taming Lily, the oldest and definitely the wildest sister.

Book Review: Owning Violet by Monica Murphy

Owning Violet
The Fowler Sisters #1
Author: Monica Murphy
Reading Level: Adult
Genre: Romance
Released: December 2nd 2014
Review Source: Bantam

New York Times bestselling author Monica Murphy begins a sexy new contemporary romance series—perfect for fans of Christina Lauren and Emma Chase—that introduces three sisters born to wealth, raised to succeed, ready to love, destined to make waves.

I’ve moved through life doing what’s expected of me. I’m the middle daughter, the dutiful daughter. The one who braved a vicious attack and survived. The one who devoted herself to her family’s business empire. The one who met an ambitious man and fell in love. We were going to run Fleur Cosmetics together, Zachary and I.

Until he got a promotion and left me in the dust. Maybe it’s for the best, between his disloyalty and his wandering eye. But another man was waiting for me. Wanting me. He too has an overwhelming thirst for success, just like Zachary—perhaps even more so. He’s also ruthless. And mysterious. I know nothing about Ryder McKay beyond that he makes me feel things I’ve never felt before.

One stolen moment, a kiss, a touch . . . and I’m hooked. Ryder’s like a powerful drug, and I’m an addict who doesn’t want to be cured. He tells me his intentions aren’t pure, and I believe him. For once, I don’t care. I’m willing to risk everything just to be with him. Including my heart. My soul.

My everything.

** This is a New Adult romance novel recommended for ages 18+ due to sexual content and mature subject matter.**

Man, this was my first read by Monica Murphy and it definitely won’t be my last, this girl knows steam. Owning Violet, the first in the Fowler Sister series, following Violet, the middle child, the one that runs under the radar, follows the rules, and lets people walk all over her, especially her boyfriend Zachary. On the night Violet believes Zachary is going to propose he drops a bomb that he’s taking a temporary position in London. On the night that her world turns upside down Violet runs into Ryder, who does his best to weasel his way into her life, unfortunately with the dual point of views we know he’s got a conniving plan in the works with his boss/sometimes lover/only friend Pilar.

There’s one thing for sure, this book contains some steamy scenes, it nearly burnt my fingers. Ryder was such an ass majority of this book, but when he dropped down his walls, opened up a bit, I started falling for him too. I can’t help but love a bad boy, especially one with tattoos and piercings. Violet is first painted as this less than stunning, pushover, easy to break kind of girl, but the day she met Ryder her back bone grew and she became one tough chick. I actually believe she was stronger than she let on from the beginning, but when she let Zachary cheat on her and believed he would be faithful to her once they were married I thought she was delusional.

I really enjoyed Owning Violet, I loved watching Violet bloom, Ryder slowly change, and their sexy relationship evolve. For me though the ending felt a little rushed, and things were brushed over that I wished we could have focused on a little more, but hopefully we’ll get more answers in Stealing Rose or Taming Lily. If you’re any kind of New Adult fan, who loves some steamy relationships, with the sexy jerk bad boy, I’d recommend you pick this one up. I can’t wait to read more from Monica Murphy!

Ache For You: Archer

“Your brother is a miserable jackass,” I say the minute I walk into the bedroom.
Ivy’s curled up in my bed, looking rumpled and sexy as she flips through a magazine. “Why do you say that?” She doesn’t bother glancing up, too engrossed in whatever she’s looking at.
Which is fine because I’m too engrossed with what I’m looking at too. She’s so damn beautiful she makes my heart ache. She’s wearing her black reading glasses that make her look like an adorable hipster nerd, her face is scrubbed clean of makeup, cheeks rosy. Lips pursed as she tilts her head, examining the photograph that dominates both pages of the open magazine—an interior design magazine, I’m sure.
She’s always pouring over them for ideas. She loves her career, and I love her for being so ambitious, so talented, so…
      Ivy.
Hell. I am completely pussy-whipped when it comes to her and I could give a good goddamn. I own it. I love this woman.
      And she loves me.
“He’s grouchy as hell. Claims he met a woman who hated him pretty much on sight.” I take my wallet out of the back pocket and set it on my dresser, right next to my keys. Undo my belt buckle and slowly pull the leather out of the loops of my jeans, letting it drop on the floor with a solid thud.
      She still doesn’t look up.
“Don’t all the women Gage meets eventually hate him sooner or later?” She flips the page, glances up quickly to take me in but doesn’t seem impressed. Her gaze drops back to the magazine and she purses her lips again, makes a soft little noise like she approves of what she sees and she folds the corner of the page down.
“Yeah. Women used to feel the same way about me too you know.” Why the hell did I just say that? Am I butt hurt because she’s not paying attention to me? Have we already progressed to the next stage in our relationship? The boring, we-don’t-give-a-crap-if-we’re-naked-in-each-other’s-presence stage? God, I hope not. We haven’t been together long enough to already act like that.
“I’m sure they had good reason, Archer,” she murmurs, a little smile curling her lips though she’s still not looking at me, damn it. “You were quite the man whore once upon a time. Before I came along, rocked your world and changed your wicked ways for good.”
“Ha, modest much?” Everything she says is the truth though. I unbutton my shirt and shrug out of it, letting it fall on top of my discarded belt. Then I kick off my shoes, peel off my socks. “Does that bother you? That I used to be a man whore?”
“It is what it is.” She shrugs, flipping another page. The sound of the magazine crinkling is starting to irritate me. “Besides, we’re together now and I’m confident in knowing that you’re not going anywhere.”
“You really think so, huh?” I undo the button fly of my jeans and shove them off, until I’m standing there in my boxer briefs and nothing else. And my woman still hasn’t lifted her head to check me out beyond a quick glance.
I need to rectify this problem, stat.
“Oh, I know so.” She glances up, her eyes widening the slightest bit when she sees me. “Archer. Where are your clothes?”
“I still have some on.” I point at my underwear. “Though I can change that, if you prefer.”
A smile blooms and she slaps the magazine shut, setting it on the bedside table. “Are you coming to bed?”
“That was the plan. Though it’s not even nine yet.” Hell, I thought it was later. We are turning into the old couple that goes to bed too freaking early.
Though I don’t plan on getting any sleep just yet. I have other things in mind to occupy our time for a bit.
“I was tired.” She feigns yawning. “You can keep me warm though. Maybe even keep me awake for a bit.”
I flick off the lamp that sits on my dresser and walk over to the bed, tugging the comforter back so I can crawl beneath it. “I’m the one who’s only in my underwear. I think you need to keep me warm.”
“All right. Sounds like a deal.” She scoots across the mattress and snuggles close, her arm slung over my chest, her face in my neck. Her warm breath caresses my skin, making it tingle and I wrap my arms around her, pulling her as close as I can get her. Just like that, I’m hard. Aching for her. Wanting her.
      Always.
“You smell good,” I murmur against her hair, just before I kiss her forehead. “Feel good too.”
“Mmm.” She presses her face closer, her lips moving over my neck. “So do you.”
Those little sounds of pleasure she makes are my undoing. I hear them and I instantly want to tear her clothes off and bury myself inside her. Even when she’s eating and makes one of those noises—which she does quite often and I sometimes wonder if she does it on purpose just to drive me crazy—I’m filled with this insane urge to take her in the hopes I’ll hear her make a noise just like it again.
And then again. Only those noises are because of me and the way I touch her. Kiss her. Lick her. Stroke deep inside her…
“We’re not going to sleep yet are we, baby?” I ask, smoothing my hand down her back. She has on one of those thin little tanks she likes to wear to bed, no bra, and tiny shorts that make her legs look endless. Probably no panties either. I love the stuff she wears to bed.
Easy access is important, though I prefer complete nakedness, if I’m being truthful.
“Did you and Gage fight?” she asks. “Is that why you’re mad at him?”
My get-inside-Ivy’s-panties mood crashes and burns, just like that. “Why are you bringing up your brother now?”
“You said he was a miserable jackass. I’m curious why you think that,” she says, pulling away slightly so she can look up at me. “So? Did you?”
“Did I what?” Damn, she’s distracting. Her body is perfectly fitted to mine, her breasts against my chest, her legs entwined with mine. And here we are, talking about freaking Gage.
“Fight with my brother.” She shoves at my chest, her hot fingers branding me. “Please tell me you didn’t.”
“We didn’t,” I say automatically. “He’s just grumpy.”
“He needs to meet a nice woman who’ll change his life completely,” she murmurs just before she kisses me, her lips soft and damp. “Don’t you think?”
“Sure.” I don't want to talk about Gage anymore. My hands are wandering as if they have minds of their own, mapping Ivy’s skin. Sliding over her shoulders, down her chest, until I’m cupping her breasts and thumbing her nipples, watching them harden beneath her tank top. “Kinda like what happened to me, right?”
“Did I change your life?” she asks, her voice so soft I almost don’t hear her.
“Baby, you make my life complete. I don’t know what I’d do without you.” I kiss her again, because how can I resist? She’s my everything. “I love you.”
With a gentle shove she pushes me onto my back and suddenly she’s on top of me. Straddling me, those long legs draped around my hips as she stares down at me with a wicked gleam in her eyes. “I love you too. So much. Will you let me have my way with you tonight?”
Laughter escapes me but becomes a strangled sound in my throat when she starts stroking me everywhere, her nimble fingers sliding over my hard cock and giving me a firm squeeze. “Anything you want,” I say gruffly, trying to keep my shit together and having a hell of a time with it.
I feel ready to blow already and she’s barely touched me yet.
It’s her turn to laugh. “What if I wanted to tie you up and tease you until you’re begging me to let you come?”
“Are you serious?” It sounds kind of hot coming from Ivy. But… “I don’t like giving up control though.”
“I know.” The wicked grin she’s wearing says she really doesn’t care either. “Don’t you think it would be fun? Letting go like that? Letting me take over? I always let you be in command.”
I’m not sure. She’s right. I’m the one who’s usually in charge in the bedroom but giving in to Ivy doesn’t sound like a bad idea, especially with that lusty gleam in her eyes.
“I’ll tie you up but I’ll do whatever you want me to,” she whispers as she starts sliding down my body. “Touch you wherever you want…In fact, I think we need to take off your boxers so we can get right down to business.”
Ah, damn. The woman knows just what to say to make me sweat.
She’s right there, her face in front of my cock, her fingers curled around the waistband of my boxer briefs. And then she’s tugging them off and I’m helping her, kicking them off as fast as I can and hoping like hell I don’t knee her in the face in the process.
But then I’m not thinking about kneeing Ivy or underwear or anything like that at all. Not when she smiles at me as she curls her fingers around me, dipping her head so her mouth brushes against the very tip. I’m done thinking. Now I’m only feeling.
      Feeling…

A Billionaire Bachelors Club Series #1
Author: Monica Murphy

New York Times bestselling author Monica Murphy launches her sexy Billionaire Bachelors Club series with the story of Archer and Ivy: a lavish bet, a night of carnal desires, and a forever they never thought possible…

Ivy

“What is this?” I take the wadded up fabric from his hand, our fingers accidentally brushing and heat rushes through me at first contact.

“One of my T-shirts.” He shrugs those broad shoulders, which are still encased in fine white cotton. “I know you didn’t have anything to wear to…bed. Thought I could offer you this.”

His eyes darkened at the word bed and my knees wobble. Good lord, what this man is doing to me is so completely foreign, I’m not quite sure how to react.

“Um, thanks. I appreciate it.” The T-shirt is soft, the fabric thin, as if it’s been worn plenty of times, and I have the sudden urge to hold it to my nose and inhale. See if I can somehow smell his scent lingering in the fabric.

The man is clearly turning me into a freak of epic proportions.

“You’re welcome.” He leans his tall body against the doorframe, looking sleepy and rumpled and way too sexy for words. I want to grab his hand and yank him into my room.

     Wait, no I don’t. That’s a bad, terrible idea.

     Liar.

“Is that all then?” I ask because we don’t need to be standing here having this conversation. First, my brother could find us and start in again on what a mistake we are. Second, I’m growing increasingly uncomfortable with the fact that I’m completely naked beneath the robe. Third, I’m still contemplating shedding the robe and showing Archer just how naked I am.

“Yeah. Guess so.” His voice is rough and he pushes away from the doorframe. “Well. Good night.”

“Good night,” I whisper but I don’t shut the door. I don’t move.

     Neither does he.

“Ivy…” His voice trails off and he clears his throat, looking uncomfortable. Which is hot. Oh my God, everything he does is hot and I decide to give in to my impulses because screw it.

     I want him.

Archer

Like an idiot, I can’t come up with anything to say. It’s like my throat is clogged and I can hardly force a sound out, what with Ivy standing before me, her long, wavy dark hair tumbling past her shoulders, her slender body engulfed in the thick white robe I keep for guests. The very same type of robe we provide at Hush.

But then she does something so surprising, so amazingly awesome I’m momentarily dumbfounded by the sight.

Her slender hands go for the belt of the robe and she undoes it quickly, the fabric parting, revealing bare skin. Completely bare skin.

Holy shit. She’s naked. And she just dumped the robe onto the ground so she’s standing in front of me. Again, I must stress, naked.

My mouth drops open, a rough sound coming from low in my throat. Damn, she’s gorgeous. All long legs and curvy waist and hips and full breasts topped with pretty pink nipples. I’m completely entranced for a long, agonizing moment. All I can do is gape at her.

“Well, are you just going to stand there and wait for my brother to come back out and find us like this or are you going to come inside my room?”
