Political interference in the Avengers' activities causes a rift between former allies Captain America and Iron Man.

Marvel’s CAPTAIN AMERICA: CIVIL WAR is now playing in theatres everywhere! Trust me, you don't want to miss out on this one. With great characters, actions, comics and Black Panther (super excited to dive into his world), you really need to watch it this weekend.

In celebration of CAPTAIN AMERICA: CIVIL WAR opening, we wanted to share this epic video Disney has shared with us. Here are some fun facts:

On June 18, 2015, on the backlot of Pinewood Atlanta Studios, the first scenes of the historic Civil War mash-up began shooting, pitting the Avengers against each other with teams led by Captain America and Tony Stark. Filmmakers nick-named the classic battle the “Splash Panel,” because it was like a double-panel illustration in a comic book. The “Splash Panel” is one of Marvel’s most epic scenes with the most interaction ever seen in a Marvel film. The sequence was shot on IMAX cameras to give fans an unforgettable immersive experience.

The film also features one of the most advanced automobiles in the world, which T’Challa/Black Panther drives. The filmmakers turned to Audi, who provided the production with their newest hi-tech concept car for the shoot. The stunning car has all the newest technology that Audi has but it has never been put into production. Keep an eye out for it in the movie—you won’t see it anywhere else.

A new Super Hero is introduced to the Marvel Cinematic Universe in “Captain America: Civil War”—T’Challa, the Black Panther, played by Chadwick Boseman. The highly anticipated character comes in not agreeing with either side in the Civil War because he has his own agenda. Black Panther will feature in his own standalone film in 2018.

After another incident involving the Avengers results in collateral damage, political pressure mounts to install a system of accountability, headed by a governing body to oversee and direct the team. The new status quo fractures the Avengers, resulting in two camps, one led by Steve Rogers and his desire for the Avengers to remain free to defend humanity without government interference, and the other following Tony Stark's surprising decision to support government oversight and accountability.

On Thursday, April 14, me and 300 or so movie nerds packed into an auditorium to be the first super fans to see a screening of Captain America : Civil War, and I have been dying to tell everyone about it since! Don't worry. I will not spoil anything. Everyone should get to enjoy the film as I did, spoiler-free.

It's a must-see, action-packed, movie. I loved it! Go see it when it opens. Now, to be fair, I would tell everyone to go see it even if I didn't love it because this film is an important cog in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. If you're at all invested in the MCU, like I am, you have to keep watching all of the films.

The Captain American films in the MCU have not been my favorite. To me, The First Avenger was one of my least favorite Marvel movies and The Winter Soldier, while better, still isn't one of my faves. Captain America : Civil War is the best Captain America movie and a great addition to the MCU. It wasn't perfect, but still very good.

I loved the cast. I'm not going to tell anyone which Avengers are in it, in case someone doesn't know, but it's a lot. All of the favorites are back, in all of their glory, and a few new characters are added. It was super-hero galore! The introduction of the new heroes worked better for one of the new heroes than the other. A minor imperfection. Just as an example, when one of the new characters appeared on-screen, the audience cheered audibly. For the introduction of the other new character, no cheers. I don't think that either of the characters was disliked or un-welcomed, I think that one of them needed a bit more explanation. I'm sure that the fact the I needed more background on one of the new characters means that there will be a new movie with a new origin story, and that isn't a bad thing.

The script was great. Captain America movies tend to have the best dialogue, and this film is no exception. It's all there. There are some great heart to heart conversations and funny one-liners. It is all made more impressive by sheer number of Avengers in this movie. The fans, the MCU diehards, were going to know if someone spoke out of character. Thankfully, there was none of that.

The plot kept me entertained. This installment is a sequel to both The Winter Soldier and Avengers : Age of Ultron. It even ties back to Steve Roger's WWII days. It all works seamlessly. The story has the right amount of history and the right amount of future. I had a tiny issue with War Machine's story, but that maybe because I have never cared about War Machine. To me, War Machine is just an unpainted, lesser version, of Iron Man with none of the personality. The movie is two and a half hours in duration. If War Machine's story was cut down, the movie wouldn't have to be so long.

Nevertheless, by the end of this adventure, there is a definite end to some story arcs and a definite path to future story arcs. The future for the MCU looks good. I will probably see this again when it opens. Don't forget to stay for the credits. See Captain America : Civil War when it opens on May 6.

But Mowgli finds he is no longer welcome in the jungle when fearsome tiger Shere Khan (voice of Idris Elba), who bears the scars of Man, promises to eliminate what he sees as a threat. Scarlett Johansson / Kaa

Kaa is a massive python who uses her voice and hypnotic gaze to entrance Mowgli. The man-cub can't resist her captivating embrace. "Kaa seduces and entraps Mowgli with her storytelling," says Scarlett Johansson. "She's the mirror into Mowgli's past. The way she moves is very alluring, almost coquettish."

Sir Ben Kingsley / Bagheera

Bagheera is a sleek panther who feels it's his duty to help the man-cub depart with dignity when it's time for him to leave his jungle home. "Bagheera is Mowgli’s adoptive parent," says Ben Kingsley, who lends his voice to Bagheera. "His role in Mowgli’s life is to educate, to protect and to guide. My Bagheera was military–he’s probably a colonel. He is instantly recognizable by the way he talks, how he acts and what his ethical code is.”

Idris Elba / Shere Khan

Voiced by Idris Elba, Shere Khan bears the scars of man, which fuel his hatred of humans. Convinced that Mowgli poses a threat, the bengal tiger is determined to rid the jungle of the man-cub. "Shere Khan reigns with fear," says Elba. "He terrorizes everyone he encounters because he comes from a place of fear."

Giancarlo Esposito / Akela

Akela is the strong and hardened alpha-male wolf who shoulders the responsibility of his pack. He welcomes Mowgli to the family, but worries he may one day compromise their safety. "Akela is a fierce patriarch of the wolf pack," says Giancarlo Esposito, who voices the character. "He believes the strength of the pack lies in what each and every wolf offers. He's a great leader, a wise teacher."

Christopher Walken / King Louie

King Louie is a formidable ape who desperately wants the secret of Man's deadly "red flower”–fire. He's convinced Mowgli has the information he seeks. "King Louie is huge–12 feet tall," says Christopher Walken, who voices the character. "But he's as charming as he is intimidating when he wants to be.”

Lupita Nyong'o / Raksha

Lupita Nyong'o voices Raksha, a mother wolf who cares deeply for all of her pups–including man-cub Mowgli, whom she adopts as one of her own when he's abandoned in the jungle as an infant. "She is the protector, the eternal mother," says Nyong'o. "The word Raksha actually means protection in Hindi. I felt really connected to that, wanting to protect a son that isn’t originally hers but one she’s taken for her own."
