From Sara Shepard, author of the #1 New York Times bestselling Pretty Little Liars series, comes the shocking sequel to The Perfectionists—with an ending you'll have to read to believe!

Mackenzie, Ava, Caitlin, Julie, and Parker have done some not-so-perfect things. Even though they all talked about killing rich bully Nolan Hotchkiss, they didn't actually go through with it. It's just a coincidence that Nolan died in exactly the way they planned . . . right? Except Nolan wasn't the only one they fantasized about killing. When someone else they named dies, the girls wonder if they're being framed. Or are they about to become the killer's next targets?

In the sequel to The Perfectionist, we come to learn the person that the girls suspected is no longer alive. As this is how The Perfectionist ends. Mr. Granger is dead and there is no one else they can pinpoint the blame to. Unlike them, there is someone that is doing all the killing, first Nolan now Mr. Granger. The girls know as soon as the truth comes out about their prank to Nolan, they will be the ones to be blame to these crimes.

In The Good Girls, everyone is trying to settle back into their lives. Although some truth were exposed about the five high school seniors. As they try to move on, they come to realize the killer is after them. This murder knew of their true intentions, but never did they imagine this person would be able to do the things they’ve planned, better yet, desired. As a new suspect is charged of Mr. Granger’s murder, the girls know better. Alex is not the killer. Yet, they do not have the evidence to help him out.

As we get to learn more about each of the five girls and their boyfriends, we (the reader) realize, anyone can be the killer. No one can be trusted. The way their boyfriends make statements, one can only question their true intentions. As Ava, one of the five girls involved on Nolan’s prank which lead to his death, questions Alex – he begins to tell her his story, how he was involved. He said he saw someone the night Mr. Granger was killed. “A girl”. As the school search for evidences, the girls begin to confess their hatred towards Nolan and along the way they begin to see a pattern. The killer is killing everyone they’ve wished to be death. Everyone that either harmed them or destroyed their life. But how? Is the killer one of the girls? There is no way someone else would know about these individuals.

What else can one expect from Sara? She is famous because she earned this title. She knows how to write mysteries stories and they are highly addicting. She gives you the evidences, you just have to solve the puzzle. Gosh, when I found out the truth, I was facepalming. How did I not see it? Everything screamed the murderer's name. Sara will not disappoint. If you are a fan of her novels and or mystery stories, then you have to make sure you pick this one!

  2. I haven't read the first one in this series but you have me intrigued. I love a great mystery and the fact that the author lays out all the right clues and yet we still don't know what happened until she reveals it is great.
