Ohhh my goodness. Paullina Simons can do no wrong. She is absolutely one of my most favorite authors. The first book I read by her was, "The Bronze Horseman", which blew my whole world apart. It’s a life changing book and so was this book.

The one thing I will say about Paullina Simons’ books is, you have to have patience. Sometimes it takes a minute to get into the story but once you’re in, you will not put the book down. Her books become your whole life while reading. So, it was no surprise, I devoured this book.

Lily Quinn has a seriously rough time. She is a college student that barely has money to eat and has just enough to pay rent. If that weren’t bad enough, she finds out her boyfriend is a cheater and he leaves her, taking the bed they shared together. Now she has to figure a way to pay more for rent. If her worries weren’t stressful enough with those situations, her roommate goes missing. Oh my gosh, when I tell you to prepare yourself for one crazy ride, you better believe it.

In walks Detective Spencer O’Malley. He is in charge of Lily’s roommate’s case. This is where Paullina Simons is a mastermind. The chemistry/tension between these two is so completely off the charts. It indescribable how intense this book is. Just so so so good.

I’m rating this book 4.5 stars because it was such a good book. It took me a little bit to get hooked but when I reached the hooked point, I was so slayed. I highly recommend this author and this book!

Once again Molly McAdams has written a great story. I See You is everything you love about McAdams writing without being repetitive. You fall in love with new characters and story. And how perfect is that title, it goes with the story hand in hand. And I love the color scheme used in the cover of the book.

I'll state the reason I didn't give this book a 5 star review, like her books in the past. The major thing I love McAdams for, is the fact that she has to date been the only author to make me ~~cry~~ ugly cry. And I know that when you begin to read her book, to be prepared because what is coming will crush your heart and then mend it back up with ya as much force. I See You lacked somewhat for me. I waited and waited for it, then realized it wasn't going to be like past books. Yes, McAdams gave us the cause and effect but in a timid approach, that I wouldn't cry over. I did like the story and what she did with it, and that's why it still earn a 4 star review.

In I See You, you follow the story of Rorie (Aurora) and two brothers. Before you roll your eyes, it's not your typical love triangle. Give it a chance, if your not into triangles. I don't want to give much away, but Rorie has never gotten over the one night she spent with the mysterious stranger but when she understood she would never see him again, she let herself fall for the guy that she just happen to run into one night. And they were great together, Rorie and Declan, made sense and she knew it. Now Declan's mother would disagree and made her life a living hell. She could never be good enough for Declan. Then about a year into their relationship, Declan's brother comes home from the Marines. And let's just say the homecoming was more than what Rorie and Jentry expected. Cue back to that one unforgettable night and boom, people that thought they would never see each other were proven wrong. Now Rorie is at a loss, she knows where her heart truly lies but at the same time she loves them both. Will Rorie choose Declan, her safe and solid bet or will she choose the guy that stole her heart a year ago and still hold a strong claim to it? Or will the other that already dislikes her, exile her to the point that she can't be with either brother. Of course, add some other drama into this mix and you got yourself one heck of a story.

Fans of McAdams will read this book, but if you haven't read a book by McAdams yet, give this one a try and I believe you will be happy with the outcome. Then make sure to pick up her others stories. A messy love story that has heart ache written all over it. Aurora becomes Jentry's after just one night together. Losing him led her to Declan. Unbeknownst to her, the two knew each other. The fight between who she wants and who she should be with is a tough battle that no one is prepared to fight.
I swear. Every time I get a new Molly McAdams book there's always excitement, joy and a little bit of fear that goes through me. Fear only comes before I've cracked the book open. Will I like this one? She only writes books I love - there must come a time when I won't love one? I'm always nervous - always waiting for that one that doesn't grip me. But without fail page one is read and I must dive into the story. With McAdams' books I always know that I will finish it in one day. Any spare time I get is spent reading her book whenever I get my hands on them.

Aurora. Jentry. Declan. Three characters whom I've grown to love so very much. And once you realize that things are going to get messy with them you feel McAdams writing chipping away at a part of your soul. The part which you have given to these characters. These characters who slowly are fighting a losing battle - or a battle they can win but how they handle it isn't the path of least resistance. Such as Jentry says at one point in the book. You gotta just take it one thing at a time. Once one hurdle comes you hold your breath, will Aurora to do what is right and see how things play out. To only realize that what you willed for her may have only brought more pain upon her.

I realize that I'm talking a lot about pain -- there is a lot of it just not in a horrible way. There's the pain of lose, suffering, confusion, true love fighting for a place in your heart. But underneath it all you will only feel love. Love for Aurora, Jentry, and Declan (which because you love them all only brings some more pain) and love for McAdams who brought to life such a beautiful story.

I don't want to give anything away about who is chosen - although it's probably a little bit obvious. But I think this is what breaks my heart the most. You love both Jentry and Declan so much. When Aurora is with Jentry you want her with him. When she is with Declan you want her with Declan. But when Aurora has made a choice the characters handle it in a way which only makes you respect and love them even more.

If you've read a McAdams' book before - you're in for a real treat. This is McAdam's at her finest. If you haven't read a McAdams' book than this is a great one to start on!

Deacon - we've grown to know him as the man whore of Thatch. Charlie - we've had a love/hate/love relationship with her once we found out what she was up to with Ben. Now it's time to shine some more light onto their lives. Onto their hopes, dreams, fears, truths and souls.

This series has held such a special place in my heart. If I had never read Letting Go (Thatch #1) I would've never been introduced to Molly McAdams. I probably would have, but it would've been a while before I found her. And to this day she's one of my top favorites. So to have this series ending leaves me with a bittersweet feeling.

First off - Deacon Carver is my favorite character from the series. Grey always called him her big Teddy Bear, which left me believing he was a big teddy bear for readers to fall for, even if he wasn't the main guy. And now to have his story in my hands...words cannot describe how much I loved it. And Charlie. She deserves a clean slate. In Thatch #1 we find out that she had harbored feelings for Grey's fiancé who passes...and had his child. Yes we have closure at the end of Letting Go with that story, but there's still always that 'Well Charlie....she loved BEN?! HOW?!' in your mind. Until you read this book. Until you realize that it was more like an infatuation than love, but when you're young they feel the same almost.

I ABSOLUTELY loved this story. In most of McAdams' books we get a sense of the couple that needs to get together has always harbored feelings for one another. With Show Me How there's some feelings but it's not exactly what you think. Deacon isn't quite fond of Charlie because of what she had done to Grey. And this was a nice change of pace. I loved seeing the relationship work towards true love. Yes I'm a firm believer in love at first sight, but I also know that sometimes it takes work. That most of real life isn't going to be all magical and spectacular. And I feel that this book held that true to heart. I could've handled seeing Deacon being upset with Charlie for a little while longer. But honestly the Keith and Deacon scenes steal the show, and once Charlie and Deacon become an item Keith is around Deacon a lot more to make your heart explode.

McAdams' ended this series on such a good note. We got closure. It's always tough saying good bye to a series that you love so much, even more so when a series gets ended in such a way that leaves audiences angry and upset and only wanting more. So when that was not the case here I was pleasantly surprised.

This is the first book I've read in the Saint of Denver series. Being as this is book two, I was able to read it without any issues of not reading book one.

This story grabbed my attention from the very first page. Starting out with the heroine, Avett Walker, being incarcerated for being an accessory to her boyfriend's armed robbery. Avett has always been a trouble maker, ever since she was little. The older she got, the more self destructive. However, all those bad decisions and actions never landed her in jail, until now. Avett felt she had finally pushed her dad to his limits and didn't want to ask him or anyone else for help.

In comes Quaid Jackson, the incredibly sexy man hired to be Avett's lawyer and ends up being so much more. The unlikely pair gave me all the feels. Quaid was the focused, determined, suit wearing man - while Avett was the crazy, trouble making, pink haired woman. Even though they seemed completely opposite, their chemistry was OFF THE CHARTS!!

Avett's dad had always been her biggest supporter and ally. He always told her, "Don't worry, Sprite, bad decisions make for good stories." - This is now one of my all time favorite lines in any book. - I loved her dads character. I feel Jay wrote him so well! The perfect protector and supporter. The definition of a father that unconditionally loves his daughter. He comes to Avetts rescue once again and bails her out of jail.

At this point Avett wakes up and decides that all her decisions and self destruction is really hurting those closest to her. She vows to do better from then on.

I loved this book, I feel like Jay did an amazing job developing both main characters throughout the book. The self worth struggles of the heroine are very relatable to many people. The reader is taken on a journey of real growth and personal development. I cheered on the heroine from the beginning wanting so much for her to be successful and realize her self worth. I love Jay's writing and the dialogue between characters. The story flowed really well and I could not put the book down. My only complaint was that there was a lot of internal dialogues throughout the book, that I could have done without. Also, I'm not a huge fan of insta-love and I feel there was a bit of that going on.

Bottom line, this was another great book by Jay that I loved!

It should be known that this is my very first Jay Crownover book. *Hides* Please let me explain: I’ve heard nothing, but amazing things from Jay, but I went through a phase where I was literally only reading New Adult books. As you can guess, I burnt myself out. I didn’t want to jump into another NA series until I was sure it wouldn’t just blend into something else I had just read. I’m happy to report that not only does Built stand out among the rest, but it brought my love for New Adult back.

I’ve missed getting to dive into the lives of characters that aren’t always perfect, but somehow always manage to tug on your heart. Sayer has a history; she’s cold as ice and hardly ever let’s anyone in. That is until she finds out she has a long lost brother. She packs up leaves for Denver without a second glance back. Enter Zed, his past always seems to linger, but there isn’t much you can do. You just have to move forward and built up your life again. Fire and ice aren’t an idle mix, but when you want something you have to go after it right?

Getting caught up in Sayer & Zeb story was so much fun. Fighting temptation is always a hard thing, but when you add Zeb to the mix I think it’s almost impossible! I loved these characters so much and I’m hoping they pop up in as the series moves along. I’m keeping things a bit vague, but it’s honestly only for your benefit. Pick up Built and join the me in following what I’m expecting to be an epic series.

Harlow and Knox were destined to be together - they both knew it from the moment they met one another. But life got in the way: as it tends to do. Knox found himself trying to lose his thoughts of Harlow in other women, while Harlow was only worrying for her families lives while being married to a man, who she no longer knew. As fate would have it Knox came back into Harlow's life right at the most opportune moment, but can Harlow allow him to risk his own life just so they can finally be together?

Oh my gosh. I have said it before, and I will say it again. Molly McAdams is queen. I seriously love her books. Each and every one gives you a new emotion that you never knew you could experience while reading. While this one was hard to handle at times - for the abusive relationship that takes place between Harlow and her husband Collin - it was definitely worth it. From that first chapter McAdams' had me in tears - but seriously if you're picking up a Molly McAdams book you expect to cry at least once during the book. But I feel like this was the first time I cried out of fear for the main character. I also cried happy tears whenever Harlow had little moments with Knox, but there were moments where I was completely and utterly afraid for Harlow.

Having read Letting Go, the first book in this series, I remember loving Knox in the few scenes he was in. So to be able to read his story and get to know him as a character was amazing. And it basically made me love Graham and Deacon even more. The protective "older brother" role that the take on makes them easily lovable. And you kind of just want to give them a bear hug! I also loved seeing Grey and Jagger in this series. My only problem is I thought Jagger was going to be my favorite male in this series - I should've known with McAdams' writing that I would yet again fall for this lead male. Knox is pretty much what every girl wants; he is the big protector who will put himself into any situation just to make sure the love of his life is safe. He does take the precautions Harlow wants, but that doesn't completely stop him from keeping an eye on her. And that is adorable to me.

Basically this book will make you feel all the feels. You will laugh, you will cry, you will be on the edge of your seat. It will make you want a love story that Knox and Harlow has, because Why would anyone waste their time only loving someone to the moon when they could love them To The Stars?

The instant his voice filtered through the phone, my body stilled and warmed at the same time. My breath came out in a soft, audible huff, and my eyes shut as hundreds of welcome memories flooded my mind.

I didn’t have to look at the screen to know who was calling. I would know that voice anywhere, and I should have been expecting his call. Not just his call. This call. We’d been preparing for and talking about this call for two and a half years now.
My lips and fingers trembled, and I almost dropped the phone as I tried to make my throat work.

“I waited for you”, played over and over again like a broken record. A broken record with the most beautiful music still coming from it.

Turning my head just enough to look over my shoulder, I eyed the guy shrugging into his shirt, and my chest ached when I faced forward again.

No longer seeing the dorm room I was standing in, I let our memories consume me. “I—” I took in a shaky breath, and my voice came out as a strained whisper. “I didn’t wait for you.”

There was nothing. No sound, no response—only the most heartbreaking silence I’ve ever endured.

Molly grew up in California but now lives in the oh-so-amazing state of Texas with her husband and furry four-legged daughters. When she's not diving into the world of her characters, some of her hobbies include hiking, snowboarding, traveling, and long walks on the beach … which roughly translates to being a homebody with her hubby and dishing out movie quotes. She has a weakness for crude-humored movies, fried pickles and loves curling up in a fluffy comforter during a thunderstorm ... or under one in a bathtub if there are tornados.
